Raw Perceptions >< Body Life is a Completely Naked project that explores the perception of human body as the main protagonist of our domestic life form everyday sensations towards the environment.

Completely Naked (London) & LASAL (Berlin) were partners whitin the 'Berlin-London-Gallery-Swap 2002' exchange program organized by the Goethe Institut Inter Nationes and The British Council. (May-Nov. 2002).

About the Raw Perceptions >< Body Life project

'Raw Perceptions >< Body Life' is a project from Completely Naked that explores the perception of human body as the main protagonist of our life form everyday sensations towards the environment.

20 'normal people' from the audience volonteer to be filmed in video, exploring the 'domestic nakedness' of the human body and celebrating its differences.

A video installation of 3 digital synchronized video projections + soundtracks part of the Berlin / London exchange.

The soundtrack for the installation where produced by independent musicians - Gabriella Svenningsen, Ilpo Jauhiainen and Anselm Caminada (L'ectro Q'd) plus Lee Evans (Chalkline).

David Atkinson has been solely responsible for editing the three films, image and sound, with added support from 303 Ltd (post-production house), who kindly facilitated the encoding of each film. see the photo gallery!

Artist Sandra Rubies from LASAL (Berlin) presented 'Records'.

'Records' is an installation: the objects; colourful records between souvenir and trash operate in the emotional space playing forgotten or unknown tunes.
'Records' is also a happening; a work in progress exploring the past, present and future through memories and sensations. In collaboration with special guest Sampson Zaharkiv-CEO Grumpy Bear & Freckles from Berlin, local artists and audience are invited to intervene creating a changing atmosphere and testimony of communication and dialogue.

'Records' is part of London/Berlin 'Gallery Swap', organized by Goethe Institut Inter Nationes & The British Council.

The last day will close with a final gathering taking account of the obtained results.

'Records' + recorded images from actions in London will be shown at Lasal previously to Completely Naked 'Raw Perceptions >< Body Life' presentation in September.
